We
will not copy out sections of the book. However, for those
who do not buy the book, it is still possible to participate
in the study by responding to the posts made, and discussing
the topic of each cycle in general.
A moderator is co-coordinating/leading the study. For
each cycle, she will either arrange other members to lead/facilitate
it, or do so herself. This involves encouraging people
to read the chapter, do the studies, do related activities,
and reflection for that cycle and participate in discussion
of the chapter and the topic generally through that month;
suggesting topics to discuss, ( eg by posting questions
to answer) any other project ideas, and also suggesting
any further resources e.g. online or books – that
people might find useful. As a cycle leader, any info
you have to share is great - but you do not have to 'teach'
the cycle - but to facilitate a shared learning experience
by all members participating. This is the ethos for all
the groups’ studies.

We
are studying the cycles of Ariadne's Thread as
suggested by Shekhinah Mountainwater with a new cycle each
Dark (often called New) Moon. There are 13 cycles so it
takes over a year to complete the workbook.
This
book comes highly recomended. It is a great book to work
through – each ‘cycle’ has a different
theme to learn about and there is not just Shekhinah's writing
but also diagrams, pictures, suggested activities, 'questions
to ponder', and further research that can be done. It is
a good beginners overview for newcomers wishing to learn
more about being Dianic spirituality and Goddess magic,
but also still has something to offer to more experienced
Dianics - some of us have been through it many times!
